Hi and welcome to my site. Please feel free to have a look around - I have been talking about the site for a very long time and am a tiny bit proud of it. thanks to everyone who has helped - AJ Allen (whose excellent interview is on the press page), Peter Mathews, for his wonderful design work. Also Lynden Lane (for her ongoing support and honesty), Aiste Gureviciute (for her overall enthusiasm - for life, poetry, everything), Alex Banks (whose wonderful voice brings my poetry to life - readings to be released soon) & others who are much loved and appreciated.
Much love and respect to my influences and special people: Dr Keith Meadows, Anne Rice - your books are amazing and your willingness to engage with your admirers is inspiring beyond words, Scarlett Thomas - whose books make my head spin in a good way.
This site is dedicated two-fold to the memory of Patrick Meadows, my dear brother-in-law who passed away early this year. A staunch ally and supporter - i really wish he was here to see this come to fruition.
Also to my grandparents Florence & Peter Miller and to my little mother Beverley Ann Miller - we've seen the dark together, so let there now be light

Praise for Gold After
'The book firmly establishes (Claire) as a writer of merit. Some of the verses mirror real life and is written in her own unique style and inimitable voice' - AJ Allen
'This poetry book is bursting with honesty, tenderness, emotions. It takes you to a place where you are true to yourself - the depths of your soul. I love how Claire enhances the sad and tender beauty of loneliness, of self. The poetry is mysterious and yet very open, filled with warmth and tragedy, with dreams and reality, the relation between soft and sharp. It is very inspiring whether you are a reader or a writer.' - Aiste Gureviciute 'Until I read Claire's first volume of poetry I was not a fan of the genre. But I have changed my mind as I realise that her work makes me think about what is on the page in front of me, challenging my preconceived thoughts. What thrills me about Claire's work is that she can stand back, putting her ideas in context as well as delivering on the detail. It is with pleasure that I commend this work to you' - Lynden Lane 'Skilful poems with a satisfying depth' - Alex Banks
